ADAMAR RUBBER and the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)

The global focus on sustainability has never been stronger — and the European Union has taken an important step forward with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). This regulation aims to ensure that certain key commodities entering the EU market — including natural rubber and rubber-based products — do not contribute to deforestation or forest degradation anywhere in the world.

What Is the EUDR
A Commitment to Sustainable and Responsible Rubber Production

What Is the EUDR?

The EUDR, adopted in 2023 and entering full enforcement at the end of 2026, requires companies to prove that the products they place on the EU market:

  • Have not been produced on land affected by deforestation or ecosystem degradation,
  • Are fully traceable to their country and area of origin, and
  • Are supported by a supplier statement confirming compliance with these environmental standards.

This regulation applies to all exporters and manufacturers who wish to sell their products within the European Union, creating a more transparent and sustainable global trade system — and directly shaping the future of EUDR-compliant rubber manufacturing worldwide.

ADAMAR RUBBER’s Commitment to EUDR Compliance

At ADAMAR RUBBER, we have always prioritized responsibility, traceability, and sustainability in our operations.

In preparation for the EUDR, our teams have conducted a thorough review of our supply chain to ensure that every raw material and supplier meets the EU’s strict environmental criteria.

We have officially collected and verified supplier statements confirming EUDR-compliant rubber sourcing, ensuring that our products can be confidently supplied to customers throughout Europe.

Our in-house laboratory and production control systems allow us to maintain full oversight of the materials used in every stage — from formulation to final inspection — guaranteeing transparency and environmental integrity in all EUDR-compliant sustainable marine rubber products.
